Phoebe and Tom

Phoebe Harty is a London-based cellist and songwriter who’s rich musical background spans the folk traditions of her native Lancashire and the rest of the British Isles, through to the traditional music and dance of northern Spain and the vibrant pop and indie scene of South East London.

Equally at home weaving delicate lines through songs or driving high-energy traditional tunes, she brings warmth, honesty and a quietly playful spirit to every project she’s part of.

Tom Step is a musician and songwriter from Worcestershire. He studied jazz piano at Trinity Laban but can more often than not be found with different instruments including 5-string banjo and guitar. 

Outside of his duo with Phoebe, he also performs frequently in other constellations and has also released two EPs of original music under his own name. His work exudes a whimsical, slightly scruffy charm to match the way he dresses.
